About Erik Hager
Lean Sensei; President
Erik’s expertise stems from the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Company. In the role of Operations Management Consultant for Toyota’s Supplier Support Centre, Erik directed the implementation of lean production systems across a vast range of organizations and industries. He has developed many educational and training frameworks for organizations of various shapes and sizes.
Erik worked under the guidance and expertise of world-renowned lean-master, Hajime Ohba. After receiving the highest level of guidance from lean gurus and a personal sensei in Japan, Erik has developed a consulting philosophy that is copied but never reproduced. Erik now owns and is President of LPS Inc. which is located in Southwestern Ontario.

Following the leadership strategies and philosophies developed by Toyota and a range of other high-functioning and effective organizations, Erik guides Lean Productivity Systems, a company that combines a new emphasis on Lean Leadership with a new emphasis on people/organizational development. It is LPS Inc's goal to use this thinking to help organizations grow and become more effective in what they do... something Erik has been doing for years!
Erik is now recognized as a Lean Sensei. His unique training and experience allow companies to be assured of expertise that is unrivaled in the lean consulting industry. There are only four individuals with the Lean Sensei expertise in Canada; Erik is one; the rest work at the Toyota plant in Cambridge Ontario.
