Lean Productivity Systems Adeel Ahmed

Adeel is a Lean/organizational Excellence Leader with heavy industrial/automotive experience in Product and Quality Engineering Management with OEM and Tier 1 suppliers in continental North America. He has led a number of improvement initiatives helping previous employers improve overall relationships with their customers

His emphasis has been to target the cost of poor quality and performance through a focus on reducing scrap and internal defects, change management and control, and supplier development. Much of his leadership has been related to division-wide activities such as cost reduction by sharing best practices, mentoring, development and training strategies of personnel.

Adeel has a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University of Detroit, Michigan and holds a CQE designation as a member of the American Society for Quality

He has managed multiple international assignments working with the following manufacturing processes.

Injection Molding

Metal Forming- Stamping, Hydroforming-metal machining

Full Perimeter- Truck Frame and sub assemblies-Welding, Riveting and Piercing

Full Vehicle and Power-train Assembly

Protective coating processes
